Inspiring the Future to Ignite Resilience

Youth & Family Mode | One Day at a Time

One Day at a Time is expanding its youth programming, which will cover both events and services for the youth and their families. This comes with an expanded team of dedicated professionals who have a genuine concern for our community. Youth and Family Mode will now be one of many programs that service our youth and young adults in addition to other mentoring services.

YOUTH RECOVERY MODE

Through its Youth Recovery Mode (YRM) program, ODAAT provides a safe space for young people in North Philadelphia to develop their interpersonal skills and focus on their development, beyond the confines of their environments which have been plagued by violence and drugs.Through regular programming throughout the year, YRM uses interactive activities, career exploration, and counseling to teach students tools to cope, manage conflict, build resiliency, and become the best version of themselves.

SATURDAY CAMP MIRACLES

A youth mentoring program that engages youth between the ages of 7 and 16 in explorative clubs that appeal to their interests. During our 4 hours together they have two meals, learn life development skills to fully immerse themselves within their interests, and serve with one another. One Day at a Time inherits this fifteen year old program from a long time partner Hope Worldwide who had a goal to strengthen communities. Under ODAAT it will continue to meet basic needs of food, fun, and family in order to strengthen the Philadelphia community.

FLAG FOOTBALL & BASKETBALL

The Youth & Family Flag Football and Basketball programs, hosted by One Day at a Time and partnering with Temple University, create a safe space and environment where youth participants are able to experience good wholesome fun while alleviating the potential for acts of violence in whatever regards. In addition, youth participants are afforded the opportunity to interact and bond with any/all attending collegiate mentors

WORKFORCE TRAINING

The ODAAT Youth Workforce Program is an 3 month program to equip youth and young adults with essential skills for employment success. Participants will receive stipends, job training, and mentorship opportunities.
